HÏ IBIZA MAKES ITS MARK WITH A MONUMENTAL OPENING PARTY

Hï Ibiza, the brand new superclub by Ushuaïa Entertainment, opened its doors for the very first time on Sunday 28th May, welcoming thousands of eager party revellers to the most talked-about opening party of the season. Featuring an all-star cast of DJs, including Black Coffee, Luciano, Apollonia, Nic Fanciulli, Kölsch, the sold-out Opening Party offered lucky ticket holders an exclusive first look at the island’s latest nightlife institution.

The club formerly known as Space has been completely transformed, elevated to new heights, with a spectacular new look and the most advanced sound and technologies on the island. Every single aspect of Hï Ibiza, down to the smallest of details, has been designed with the dancer in mind, all in the aim of creating an unforgettable and mind-blowing party experience.

The Italianate design of the Theatre (Room 1) is transported into the future with its modernistic design and the phenomenal levels of production that Ushuaïa Entertainment is renowned for, including kinetic ceiling displays and mesmerizing LED screens, including an eye-catching ribbon twist descending from the roof to the stage. World-class artists including Luciano, Black Coffee, Kölsch, Matthias Tanzmann, Bedouin and local favourites Anna Tur and Paul Reynolds put the brand new, state-of-the-art sound system through its paces, making their mark on the latest chapter of Ibiza’s nightlife legacy.

Over in the Club (Room 2), formerly known as the Terrace, there’s a more intimate feel, with a low ceiling, dazzling lighting installations and the DJ booth at eye-level. This gave artists Apollonia, Joris Voorn, Nic Fanciulli, Andrea Oliva B2B Davide Squillace, Djebali, Raul Rodriguez B2B Prymate and Igor Marijuan the ideal platform to connect with the crowd, taking them on a musical journey throughout the night from sunset to sunrise, when natural sunlight streamed in through the windows, breathing new energy into the club and keeping the crowd dancing all the way until noon.

As well as the two main dancefloors, clubbers were also invited to discover several new spaces, including the Wild Corner (the unofficial Room 3), a unisex restroom complete with DJ booth, where colourful Ibiza collective Melon Bomb soundtracked the night with an eclectic selection of house party classics, and the Magic Garden, a stunning open-air space surrounded in greenery, with space to relax, socialise and take in the canopy of stars or the rising sun above. All this plus 2 miles of streamers, 86 lasers, 100 speakers, 300 lights, 1000kg of C02 and 5 million video pixels made for a truly memorable party experience.

Partygoers are in for yet more surprises throughout the season, as Hï Ibiza will completely transform for each and every residency with a bespoke production designed to heighten the experience of each party. The state-of-the-art-club will showcase the most exciting names in electronic music throughout the summer, from the biggest stars in the scene to the leading lights of the underground, continuing the island’s legacy as the party capital of the world.
